What Can Yo Do Today To Move Your Career Forward?

Posted by Aaron Davison on Thursday, May 3, 2012, In : May 2012

Sometimes musicians are so focused on trying to find their "big break" that they miss many smaller opportunities to move their career forward and make money from their music on a daily basis. I don't think there's ever been more tools available to musicians to promote their music and build their careers than there is now.

Posted by Aaron Davison on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, In : March 2012

This is the first of several posts where I'll be analyzing scenes from popular tv shows and discussing how music is used to support each scene.

As I stated in my last post, songs that are used in television shows and films are used to enhance plotlines.  To really understand how music is used, and why it's used, you need to study and dissect how songs that are licensed fit within the context of the scene the song is used in.  Start listening closely to songs you hear in tv shows and films. ...
